"I wanted to address the outdoor chair. Previously, I have worked with wood for indoor furniture, so creating an outdoor chair in steel felt like an intriguing challenge. I chose steel for its durability and resistance to fading over time.

The design concept for the Interpolate Chair involves using a metal grid, which presents constraints similar to those of working with sheet material. However, the spaces between the bars allow for greater manipulation. Essentially, the chair consists of two bent metal sheets welded together. While there are additional design elements, the basic sheet concept defines the Interpolate Chair's minimalist character. The 45-degree metal grid contributes to its luxurious and robust appearance."
